Build a Foundation of Health for Bigger Antlers and a Stronger Herd

At Plant & Pursue, our mission is to empower hunters to pursue their passions with confidence, knowledge, and excellence. When it comes to herd management, true success starts from the ground up. Many hunters make the critical mistake of pouring cheap, generic "mineral" blocks onto their dirt, not realizing those products are mostly salt. While salt might attract deer, it does absolutely nothing to grow antlers or support the health of your herd.

If you want to cultivate true success and push your local whitetails to their genetic potential, you need a scientifically formulated supplement. Enter Real World’s Maximizer Mineral.

What It Is: Maximizer Mineral is a highly engineered, professional-grade loose mineral blend. Developed by top animal nutritionists and tested on captive and wild whitetails for over two decades, it provides the exact macro and micro-minerals that whitetails desperately need but often cannot find in their natural environment. This pure formula is packed with precise ratios of calcium, phosphorus, and essential trace minerals.

The Pure Nutrition Advantage: This is the original, proven nutritional powerhouse. It is the perfect choice for land managers who want to provide pure, unadulterated health benefits to their herd, ensuring bucks have the building blocks they need for antler genesis and does have the nutrients required to raise healthy fawns.

Key Benefits:

  • Explosive Antler Growth: Delivers the crucial building blocks (calcium and phosphorus) bucks require during the spring and summer velvet-growing months.
  • Supports Fawn Rearing: Provides lactating does with vital nutrients, directly improving milk quality, fawn survival rates, and weaning weights.
  • High Consumption Rates: Specifically formulated with the right balance of ingredients to ensure deer actually crave and consume the mineral.
  • Long-Lasting Soil Integration: The loose granular formula mixes perfectly into the soil, creating a permanent lick that won't wash away in the first heavy rain.

These captive whitetail bucks are both just three years old and are part of one of the research herds utilized in the development and testing of Maximizer Deer Mineral. They have been fed Maximizer Deer Mineral since they were fawns. Captive deer breeders do not use mineral rocks or high salt blends to grow giant racks on their bucks. Instead, they use scientifically formulated mineral blends. Many of them are now using Maximizer as the mineral source for their captive herds. If you want to maximize the genetic potential of the bucks on your hunting property, shouldn’t you be feeding Maximizer?

Pro Tip from Plant & Pursue: Expert education translates to better habitat management. To establish a successful new site, locate a high-traffic area—such as a heavily used trail intersection, a staging area near a food plot, or a natural water source. Clear a ~3-foot section of bare dirt, pour the mineral, and use a rake to mix it into the top few inches of the soil. Once the deer find it, they will keep coming back to that exact spot year after year. (Always check your local and state regulations regarding baiting and mineral use before establishing a site.)

Planting Instructions

To create a mineral lick – Pour 20-40# of Maximizer Deer Mineral on the ground in a pile where deer frequent, preferably close to water but not in an area that floods. Refresh each mineral site with an additional 5-10# of Maximizer every 30 days starting in early spring throughout the summer. For best results, start putting out Maximizer in late winter, several weeks before bucks start growing new antlers and does give birth to fawns. Make at least one mineral lick for every 40 acres

Note – During certain times of the year, specifically fall and winter, deer will consume very little mineral. If you put Maximizer out at this time and deer do not start hitting it right away, don’t be alarmed. If there are deer in the area, they will find it and start consuming it when they need it. In late winter or early spring, consumption will start to increase. By late spring, deer will be hitting mineral licks very hard as bucks are growing new antlers and does are nursing fawns.
